ORANGEBURG, SC - The Claflin Lady Panthers (6-8) put up a great effort, but the team took a 7-3 loss to the Anderson (S.C.) Trojans (14-3), Friday afternoon. The Lady Panthers put on a solid offensive effort, but the team came up just short in a tough loss.

Aryana Meadows led the way, going two-for-three at the plate with a run scored. Junior first base
McKenzie Whitener added a two-for-three batting effort with a run scored and two runs batted in (RBI).

Shantia Haymer (1-2) got the start and took the pitching loss. She finished the game with two strikeouts in three innings. Junior
Katelynn Grissom came in for four innings and she finished the game with a strikeout.
With the loss, the Lady Panthers fall to 6-8 on the season. The two teams would go on to complete their doubleheader later in the day.
