SHIPPENSBURG, PA - The Claflin Lady Panthers' (31-14) 2026 season came to an end, Friday, when the team took a 13-0 loss to the Glenville State Pioneers (46-15). The Lady Panthers put up a valiant effort, but the team had not find any answers for the Pioneers' attack in the hard fought loss.
The Lady Panthers had a tough day at the plate in the game. The team finished the game with a pair of hits. Senior second base
Aniyah Jackson and freshman third base
Aryana Meadows both recorded singles in the game.
Claflin junior pitcher
Katelynn Grissom (16-6) got the start and she threw two innings for the Lady Panthers. She finished the game with six runs allowed on five hits. Freshman
Shantia Haymer came in for 1.1 innings while fellow junior
Sydra Pendleton added 0.2 innings of pitching.
With the loss, the Lady Panthers finish the 2026 season with a 31-14 overall record and the second Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Softball Championship in school history.
