Gerardric Dobbs has been a part of Claflin baseball for many years. Not only did Coach Dobbs enjoy a tremendous playing career with the Panthers, but he also went on to join the Panthers’ coaching staff and has been integral in guiding the future of Claflin baseball.
On the diamond, Dobbs had a great career with the Panthers. He completed his career with a .327 batting average with a .418 on-base percentage, and a .513 slugging percentage. He totaled 90 hits, including 14 doubles, 11 home runs, 28 walks, and 70 RBI. For his efforts on the diamond, he earned several honors, including being named to the DII Independent Baseball All-Tournament Team as well as earning the title of Black College Nines Small School Division Player of the Year.
Following his playing career, Dobbs moved on to the professional ranks where he competed in the Independent League.
Dobbs is a graduate of Claflin University.
