Jabari Brown is entering his third season as the assistant coach for the Claflin University baseball team. Brown, who played four seasons for the Panthers, joined the coaching staff in Fall of 2018. He also served one season (2019-20) as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Claflin.
A native of Chicago, ILL., Brown was a member of the 2016 team that captured the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) championship and the automatic berth into the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.
After completing his eligibility at Claflin, Brown went on to play independent baseball with the Trinidad Triggers.
He his is currently working on his National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) Strength Coach Certification.
Brown received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Claflin in December 2016.
