Coach JaMorri Cunningham is entering his 1st season as the associate head baseball coach at Claflin University after spending 4 seasons at his alma mater Voorhees University. In his final year at Voorhees; he engineered an offense that accomplished many season highs in hitting statistics as well assisting with breaking the school record in wins. Cunningham will serve as the team’s recruiting coordinator, hitting coach as well overseeing the infield duties and director of baseball operations. 

Cunningham’s knowledge when it comes to reaching the new generation of recruits , team wellness, and mental approach of the game of baseball has quickly bolted him to be one of the top up and coming young recruiters in college baseball. He was born and raised in Montgomery Alabama. He was a student- athlete and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management  from Voorhees University in 2022.
