Coach X’Zavier Johnson took his leadership skills from the diamond to the coaching staff as he became the Panthers’ pitching coach this season. After three seasons on the mound for the Panthers, Johnson has a wealth of experience to pass to the Panthers pitching staff.
Johnson came to Claflin University in the fall of 2020 and he was a member of the team for three seasons before joining the coaching staff. Prior to joining the Panthers, Johnson played at Toccoa Falls College.
He is a 2022 graduate of Claflin University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education. He is a graduate of Siver Bluff High School.
