2024: Nehemiah had a strong season with the Panthers. He played in 40 of the team’s 45 games with 37 starts. He finished the season with 25 hits in 124 at-bats, including seven doubles and a home run. He has also totaled 15 runs scored with 15 runs batted in (RBI). He also has seven stolen bases. Defensively, he compiled 87 putouts with seven assists.
 
Personal: Nehemiah joined the Panthers in the fall of 2024. He came to Claflin after attending Louisburg College. He is a graduate of Southeast Raleigh High School where he had a great career. He was a CAP7 first team all-conference selection in 2021. He was also selected to the Greater Neuse All-Conference team both in 2022 and 2023. He was also honored as a member of the 2022 Eastern Wake All-Tournament team. He earned the 2022 Bulldog MVP Award and he earned five player of the game honors. Nehemiah was also an academic star as he earned a spot in the National Honor Society, the A/B Honor Roll, and the Greater Neuse River All-Academic Conference. He is a Marketing major and he is the son of Yvonne and Nakia Drew.
