Biography

Roman joined the Panthers in the fall of 2022. He came to Claflin after attending Newberry College. He is a graduate of Ridge View High School where he earned numerous honors. He was a Region 3-AAAA All-Conference pitcher and first baseman and he was named his team’s most valuable player. He was also a member of the Blazers football team that were Upper State Runners-Up. He was also a star in the classroom where he earned a spot on the honor roll and he compiled a 3.6 grade-point average (GPA). He is a Sport Management major and he is the sone of Shauna and Bruce Golston.
