Biography

2025: Tyler stepped in for a solid season for the Panthers. He played in 17 games with 12 starts. HE finished the season with 13 hits in 43 at-bats, including four doubles and a home run. Defensively, he added 22 putouts. He had one pitching appearance.
 
Personal: Tyler joined the Panthers in the fall of 2024. He came to Claflin after attending Rust College. He is a graduate of Central High School where he was a second-team all-region selection. In addition to baseball, he also played football at Central High. He was a recipient of the Al Lucas Memorial Scholarship. He is a Sport Management major and he is the son of Yolanda Gilbert.
