Biography

2025: Xavier stepped up to be one of the key members of the Panthers’ pitching rotation. He had 11 pitching appearances with 10 starts. He recorded 41 strikeouts to lead the Panthers during the season.
 
Personal: Xavier joined the Panthers in the fall of 2024. He came to Claflin after attending Rust College. While at Rust College, he was a 2023 All-GCAC second-team all-conference selection.  He was also a National Academic All-American honoree. He is a graduate of Whitewater High School where he was a 2022 first team 5-AAAA All-Region pitcher.  He was a member of a pair of championship teams. He earned 5-AAAA Region Championships in both baseball and football. He is a Mass Communications major and he is the son of Bernita and Sharrod Campbell.
