2023-24: Darius kept up his terrific career during the 2023-24 season. He placed fifth in the men’s heptathlon with 4,082 points where he helped the Panthers claim their second straight CIAA Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championship. He continued his solid career in the outdoor track and field season where he also recorded several personal bests. He recorded a 10’8” (3.25m) mark in the men’s pole vault to earn a sixth-place finish.
 
2022-23: In 2023, Darius continued a solid career. He placed sixth in the men’s heptathlon with 3,615 points and he was a member of the Panthers’ 2023 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championship Team. He also placed eighth in the men’s 60m hurdles when he recorded an 8.83. He continued his efforts into the outdoor track & field season when he recorded a personal best 56.20 in the men’s 400m hurdles at the 2023 CIAA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
 
2021-22: Darius began his career with a bang. He won the men’s 60m hurdles at the JDL February Multi & Track Meet with an 8.97. During the outdoor track & field season, he was a member of the Panthers’ 4x400m relay team that placed first at the Georgia Southern Spring Classic with a 42.69.
 
Personal: Darius joined the Panthers in the fall of 2022. He came to Claflin as a graduate of West Florence High School where he had a great career. He earned both team and region MVP honors. He also earned all-region honors as well. He also competed in both basketball and football. He is a Business Marketing major and he is the son of Quantashae and James Holmes.
