Biography

2023-24: Ariel had a solid freshman season. She played in 14 games for the Lady Panthers. She finished the season with 40 total points and 17 rebounds. She also added five assists with three steals. She scored a career-high nine points against Coker.
 
Personal: Ariel joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2023. She came to Claflin University after a season at Mars Hill where she played in 25 games, and she earned a spot on the Dean’s List. She is a graduate of Monsignor Scanlan High School where she earned Most Improved Player honors and earned the Academic Award. She also led her team to the 2019 Junior Varsity Championship. She is a Business Management major, and she is the daughter of Antoinette and Lionel Lucas.
