2024-25: Ariel stepped up for a strong junior season with the Lady Panthers. She played in 23 of the team’s 26 games. She finished the season with 61 total points and 15 rebounds. She broke out for a career-high 16 points in a win over Morris College. She also scored 11 points against Lincoln (Pa.) as well.
 
2023-24: Ariel had a solid season. She played in 14 games for the Lady Panthers. She finished the season with 40 total points and 17 rebounds. She also added five assists with three steals. She scored a career-high nine points against Coker.
 
Personal: Ariel joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2023. She came to Claflin University after a season at Mars Hill where she played in 25 games, and she earned a spot on the Dean’s List. She is a graduate of Monsignor Scanlan High School where she earned Most Improved Player honors and earned the Academic Award. She also led her team to the 2019 Junior Varsity Championship. She is a Business Management major, and she is the daughter of Antoinette and Lionel Lucas.
