Ashley Fields serves as the strength and conditioning coach for all of the Claflin University teams. She took the postion after serving the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant with the Claflin University women’s basketball program. Fields joins the staff after a standout career with the Lady Panthers.
In 2019 Fields had her best season in three-year as a Lady Panther. She was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Defensive Player of the Year and to the All-CIAA First Team. She finished her senior campaign averaging 15.9 points and 8.1 rebounds. Fields finished her career with 935 points (11.68 ppg), 546 rebounds (6.83 rpg), 195 steals, 204 assists.
Fields, who received her MBA from Claflin in May 2020, obtained her Bachelor of Science in human performance and recreation from Claflin in 2018.
