2021-22: Dior had a solid freshman season with the Lady Panthers. She continued to grow as a player throughout the entire season. She played in 17 of the team’s 27 games with one start. She finished the season with 43 total points with 45 total rebounds. She really stepped up with some of her best play coming in the final four games of the season. She scored a career-high eight points with nine rebounds at Fayetteville State.

Personal: Dior joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2021. She came to Claflin University as a graduate of Hilton Head Christian Academy where she had a terrific career. She led her team to three South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) 2A State Championships. She was also named the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) 2A Player of the Year and she earned a spot on the SCISA all-state team three times. She was also a three-time first team all-region selection. She also earned the Varsity Basketball Outstanding Team Contribution Award. She also competed in volleyball. She was also a star off the court where she was a three-time member of the Spanish Honors Society and she earned Pre-Calculus honors as well. She is the daughter of Brenda and Wellington Shelton.
