Biography

2021-22: Janell played in 22 of the team’s 27 games with one start. She finished the season with 84 total points, and she averaged 3.8 points per game. She finished the season ranked second on the team with 12 blocks and she added total 65 rebounds. Her best game came against Johnson C. Smith when she scored seven points.  
 
Personal: Janell joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2021. She came to Claflin after attending Coker College. She is a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School where she had a great career. During her time at Myrtle Beach High, she was named the Class AAAA Player of the Year. She also competed in tennis. She is the daughter of Chenise and George Horton.
