Biography
2023-24: Leigha returned for a great junior season. She played in all 28 games with 13 starts. She finished the season with 25 blocked shots to tie for the team lead. She finished the season with 193 total points and 130 total rebounds. She averaged 6.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Her best game of the season came against Shaw when she scored a career-high 21 points for the Lady Panthers. She went eight-for-nine from the field. She pulled in eight rebounds twice last season as well.
2022-23: Leigha missed the 2022-23 season as she recovered from an injury.
2021-22: Leigha was off to a solid start to the season before an injury ended the season. She played in 14 games with eight starts. She scored 52 total points, and she was averaging 3.7 points per game. She also pulled in 40 total rebounds with four blocks.
2020-21: Season cancelled due to COVID-19.
Personal: Leigha joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2020. She came to Claflin University as a graduate of Dominquez High School where she was a nominee for the McDonald’s All-American game. She was also a star in the classroom after earning a spot on the honor roll. She is a Political Science major, and she is the daughter of Maria and Marvin Harris.
