Biography

2022: Michael appeared in seven games on the mound for the Panthers. He finished the season with four strikeouts in seven innings.
 
Personal: Michael joined the Panthers in the fall of 2021. He came to Claflin as a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School where he earned numerous honors. He was a star in multiple sports. In football, he was named team captain, defensive player of the year, and he earned a spot on the all-county football team. He was a member of the team that claimed the 2018 conference championship. He was equally impressive in the classroom where he earned a spot on the Principal’s Honor Roll. He is a Sport Management major and he is the son of Arlene and Michael Coit.
