2021: Ayanna had a great season with the Lady Panthers. After she stepped into a starting role for the Lady Panthers, she become one of the team’s top defensive players. She started in 24 of the team’s 25 matches and she played in 73 of the team’s 94 sets and she finished the season ranked third on the team with 205 digs. She also added 15 service aces. For her efforts, she won a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week honor.
 
2020: The 2020 season was cancelled due to concerns regarding COVID-19.
 
Personal: Ayanna joined the Panthers in the fall of 2020. She came to Claflin University after attending Paine College where she earned both Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Player of the Week and SIAC Newcomer of the Week honors. She is a graduate of A.P. Goudy High School where she had a great career, including earning Defensive Player of the Year honors. In addition to playing volleyball, she also competed in track & field and softball. She is a Mass Communication major, and she is the daughter of Nedra and Khari Harrison.
