2023: Jada had a solid 2023 season for the Lady Panthers. She finished the season as one of the best defensive players for the Lady Panthers. When the season ended, she ranked third on the team with 180 digs. Offensively, she added 14 service aces with two kills and seven assists.
 
Personal: Jada joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2023. She came to Claflin University after two seasons at North Carolina Central University. She competed in the spring of 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic and she also competed during the 2021 fall season. She is a graduate of Hampton Roads Academy where she earned several honors, including being a VISAA second team all-state honoree. She also earned TCIS first team all-conference honors and second team honors once.  In addition to competing in volleyball, she also competed in track & field and basketball. She was a two-time all-conference selection in both sports as well. She is the daughter of Samm Buckhanon.
