2024: Laila finished the season as one of the best overall player on the team last season. She was one of just two players on the team to play in all 64 sets of the team’s season. She also played in 19 matches. Offensively, she totaled 12 service aces with six total kills.
 
2023: Laila competed in seven matches with one start for the Lady Panthers. She finished the season with three service aces. Defensively, she added six digs.
 
2022: Laila stepped in for a solid freshman season for the Lady Panthers. She finished the season after competing in 11 of the team’s 22 matches with three starts. She finished the season with nine kills and five assists. Defensively, she finished the season with 17 digs and three total blocks (none solo).
 
Personal: Laila will join the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2022. She comes to Claflin University as a graduate of the High School for Health Professionals. She competed in volleyball at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School where she earned several honors. She earned all-region honors, and she was named Best All-Around on the team. Academically, she earned a spot on the Principal’s List, the AB Honor Roll, and in the National Honor Society. She is a Biology major and she is the daughter of Angela and Eric Ham.
