Biography

2024: Siri returned for a great junior season with the Lady Panthers. She finished the season as the team’s leader in both assists (188) and service aces (19). She played in all 19 of the team’s matches with 14 starts. She totaled 34 kills as well. Defensively, she totaled 64 digs with 19 total blocks (four solo). For her efforts, she earned a spot on the 2024 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) All-Conference Second Team.
 
2023: Siri continued to be a stabilizing force for the Lady Panthers. She finished the season ranked second on the team with 145 total assists. She also ranked second on the team with 28 service aces. She also added eight kills. Defensively, she added 90 digs. She recorded a career-high 14 assists against Tuskegee and she tied a career-high with five service aces against Elizabeth City State and against Virginia Union.
 
2022: Siri had an immediate impact on the Lady Panthers. She stepped into a starting role after some injuries, and she responded with a great freshman season. She played in 21 of the team’s 22 matches with 10 starts. She also competed in 69 of the team’s 76 total sets. She finished the 2022 season as the team’s leader in assists with 211 assists. She also led the team with 24 service aces. Defensively, she added 90 digs. Her best match came against Johnson C. Smith when she totaled a career-high 22 assists with two service aces and eight digs. She also had a career-high five service aces against Saint Augustine’s. During the season, she was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Food Lion Rookie of the Week twice.
 
Personal: Siri joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2022. She came to Claflin University as a graduate of the High School for Health Professionals. In high school, she competed at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School where she earned team MVP honors, the Coaches’ Award, and she earned all-state honors. She was equally impressive academically as she earned numerous honors. She graduated among the Top 15 of her class and she earned a place in the National Honor Society as well as on the Honor Roll. During her high school career, she was also a Health Science Completer. She also completed dual enrollment at Orangeburg Technical College where she earned a spot on the Dean’s List and the President’s List. She completed programming to become a certified pharmacy technician. She is a Finance major, and she is the daughter of Frasquita and Joseph Davis.
