Albany, Ga.--The Claflin University men's and women's basketball teams will open a mini two-game road swing, tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 25 against Albany State University (ASU) in Albany, Ga. The Lady Panthers will get things underway at 5:30 p.m. followed immediately by the Panther men at approximately 7:30 p.m. Both games will be played at the ASU HPER Gymnasium on the campus of ASU.
The Claflin women will look to rebound from a 64-75 loss to Clark-Atlanta on Thursday (Jan. 22). The Lady Panthers enters the two-game swing with a 10-6 overall record and 4-4 in the SIAC. The Claflin men, who fell to Morehouse by two, 56-58, on Saturday (Jan. 24) enters with an 8-10 overall record and 5-4 in the SIAC.
The ASU women enter the contest 6-9 overall record and 5-3 SIAC bill into the contest, while the Golden Rams men enters tomorrow's contest with a 6-9 overall record and 2-5 in the SIAC.
Both teams will travel to Fort Valley, Ga., Thursday, Jan. 29, to face Fort Valley State.
