Claflin Falls to Lander in Non-Conference Baseball Game

Greenwood, S.C.— Claflin University dropped a non-conference baseball decision to Lander, falling 0-16, to the Bearcats in Greenwood, S.C.  With the loss, the Panthers fall to 1-6 on the season.

Junior Sixto Guerrero was a bright spot for the Panthers.  Guerrero finished the game with two hits, both triples.  Anthony Ford knocked out a double in the loss.

Will Jones scored three runs off five hits with five RBI's to lead Lander who improved to 5-2 on the season.
 Claflin will travel to Mobile, Ala. this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 14-15 to take on Spring Hill College in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) three-game series.
