"Aaron pitched well," head coach James Randall said. "He was outstanding on the mound for us, holding a good hitting Morehouse team hitless. Emanuel came in and closed things out in the seventh."  Randall continued, "Overall for the series against Morehouse, our pitchers did an outstanding job. We need pitching performances like this weekend and every weekend against SIAC opponents."

Malik Zuberi took the loss for Morehouse.

The Panthers scored one run each in the third, fourth and fifth innings.  Wendell Ferguson drove home Sixto Guerrero for the first run of the game in the bottom of the third.  In the fourth, Johnny Stevenson scored off a RBI ground out off by Jabari Brown and Rashad Bivens scored Claflin's last run in the bottom of the sixth, scoring from third off an error by Morehouse second basemen.
