Claflin-Winston-Salem State Softball Game Postponed

Winston-Salem, NC-- Please be advised that the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) softball doubleheader between Claflin University and Winston-Salem State University scheduled for today, March 26 at 1 and 3 p.m. at Winston-Salem State has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions.
 
A makeup date has not been determined.
 
The two teams will meet in Orangeburg, SC on Sunday (March 28).    
 
Claflin opened its 2021 season last weekend (Friday and Sunday) against Fayetteville State.  The Lady Panthers were victorious in all four games finishing their opening weekend with a .365 batting average, 42 hits, four home runs, 33 runs, and 32 RBIs.
 
Claflin will return to the road next Saturday, Apr. 3 when they travel to Raleigh, NC to face the Trojans of Virginia State University in a CIAA doubleheader.
