Panthers Take an 81-64 Loss at Lee (Tenn,)

CLEVELAND, TN - The Claflin Panthers (2-2) took their strong play on the road, but the team came up short in an 81-64 loss to the Lee (Tenn.) Flames (3-1), Tuesday. The loss came in spite of a solid overall effort by the Panthers.

As a team, the Panthers found points hard to come by in the loss. The Panthers shot just 41.0% (25-of-61) from the floor, but they were able to knock down seven three-pointers in the game. Claflin junior Braylon Jackson came off the bench to lead the way for the Panthers with 15 points in the game. Sophomore forward Alex Atkinson, Jr. continued his strong play this season with 10 points and two blocked shots. Junior guard Horace Jacques, Jr. led the Panthers' rebounding effort with five in the game.
