Five Lady Panthers Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
ORANGEBURG, SC - On top of a great season on the diamond, the Claflin Lady Panthers also had a terrific year in the classroom. Five of the Lady Panthers were recognized for their performances on and off the diamond when they were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators NCAA Division II Academic All-District Team. The honor goes to student athletes who have competed in 90% of their teams' games, or pitched at least 35 innings, and have compiled a 3.5 or higher grade-point average (GPA).
The honorees included student-athletes from various positions and academic classes. Among the seniors were outfielder
Kennedy Baskerville and pitcher/designated hitter
Breyanna Collins. Junior infielders
Cydney Cooper and
Aniyah Jackson both also earned their spots as well while sophomore pitcher
Katelynn Grissom rounded out the Claflin honorees.
