Lady Panthers to Open 2025 Season Against Allen (S.C.) Yellowjackets
ORANGEBURG, SC - The Claflin University Lady Panthers are set to kick off the 2025 volleyball season. The team will take on the rival Allen (S.C.) Yellowjackets at Edward L. Tullis Arena on the campus of Claflin University.
The Lady Panthers will kick off the season in a big way when they take on one of their biggest rivals, the Allen Yellowjackets. The team will feature a strong mix of returnees and a strong cast of newcomers as they look to prove the doubters wrong this season.
Leading the way for the Lady Panthers will be an experienced cast. Claflin senior setter
Siri Davis, a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) second team all-conference selection, will return for her senior season. Last season, she led the team with 19 service aces and 188 total assists. Defensively, she added 19 total blocks (four solo) along with 64 digs. Joining her will be sophomore middle hitter
Anaya Wofford, who finished second on the team in total kills with 79 last season. Defensively, Wofford led the team with 29 total blocks (five solo).
