ORANGEBURG, SC - The Claflin Lady Panthers (0-1) put on a great performance in their season opener, but the team came up just short in a four-set loss to the Allen Yellowjackets (1-0), Thursday evening. The team put on a great offensive showing in the hard fought loss.
As a team, the Lady Panthers put on a strong performance. The team totaled 37 kills with just 10 attack errors. The Lady Panthers also added 11 service aces. Freshman outside hitter
Aryanna Connell led the way for the team with 10 kills with just two errors. Fellow freshman
Zaniya Harris added seven kills of her own. Senior
Siri Davis totaled 10 assists with four service aces. Defensively, freshman
Nadia Embry had nine digs with nine assists.
