Biography

2020: The 2020 season was cancelled due to concerns regarding COVID-19.
 
2019: Tamia played in eight matches for the Panthers. She finished the season with seven digs and a kill.
 
2018: Tamia played in four matches for the Panthers. She finished the season with three digs, a kill, and an assist.
 
Personal: Tamia joined the Panthers in the fall of 2018. She came to Claflin University as a graduate of Silver Bluff High School where she was a star on the court and in the classroom. She earned both all-region honors in volleyball and she earned her team’s Most Versatile Award. She was also a member of the Beta Club and the National Honor Society. In addition to competing in volleyball, she also played both softball and basketball. She is a Digital Design major and she is the daughter of Tameika and Earl Valentine, Jr.
