BOWIE, MD - The Claflin Lady Panthers (2-15, 2-6 CIAA) to their winning ways with a dominant three-set win over the Lincoln (Pa.) Lady Lions (0-18, 0-8 CIAA) in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Round Up. The Lady Panthers dominated every aspect of the game to claim the win, 25-22, 25-8, and 25-18.
 
The Lady Panthers took the win behind their best performance of the season. The team finished the match with 34 kills and just 10 errors. The also recorded 15 service aces. It was Claflin freshman outside hitter Aryanna Connell led the way with 16 kills and five service aces in the match. She also gave a great defensive effort with eight digs as well. Senior setter Siri Davis coordinated the effort with 15 assists and five service aces in the match.
 
With the win, the Lady Panthers improve to 2-15 overall and 2-6 in CIAA play. The team will go on to face the host Bowie State Bulldogs in a 4:00 p.m. match at McKeldin Gymnasium on the campus of Bowie State University.
