Claflin Cheerleaders Win All-Female Division at the 2018 SIAC Cheer Competition.

Birmingham, Ala. (02-26-18) —The Claflin University cheerleading team coached by Leslie Simpson was crowned the 2018 Southern Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (SIAC) Cheerleading Champion for the All-Female Division. The team also won the same title last season.

The cheer competition was the kick-off event for the 2018 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Tournament. The tournament, which runs through Saturday, March 3, is being contested at the Bill Harris Arena inside the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala.
