Orangeburg, S.C.—The Claflin University cheerleader team will hold tryouts for the 2018-19 season, Monday, Sept. 17-Fri. Sept. 21, at Tullis Arena inside the Jonas T. Kennedy Health and Physical Education Center.
 
Tryout Clinics will be held Monday and Wednesday, Sept. 17 and 19, 2018.  The final tryout will be held Friday, Sept. 21, 2018.
 
The tryout clinics will be held 8:15-9:30 p.m. on Monday, and 7:30-9:15 p.m. on Wednesday.  The final tryouts will be held from 7:30 p.m.-until on Friday.  Attendance for all days is mandatory.
 
Tryouts are open to male and females of all classifications.  Anyone interested in trying out for the team must carry a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or better (excluding freshmen) and have a current physical (within the last 12 months no exceptions).  All physicals must be presented on the first night.
