Claflin Cheer Coach Leslie Simpson Named a 2019 Phenom by Columbia Regional Business Report

Columbia, S.C. – Claflin University cheerleading coach Leslie Simpson, Esq. has been named a 2019 Phenom by the Columbia Regional Business Report at the Inaugural Icons & Phenoms luncheon, held on April 11, 2019 in Columbia, SC

The Business Report launched a new event to shine the spotlight on both senior leaders as well as the area's young rising stars that are already showing their impact on the Midlands. More specifically, the Phenom award is presented to young professionals working in the Columbia area who show indications of being part of the next generation that will take the lead in shaping the Midlands.

Simpson is an attorney at McAngus, Goudelock and Courie LLC, an insurance defense firm in Columbia, SC, where she specializes in Workers' Compensation. She is a 2003 graduate of Claflin University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2014, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
