RALEIGH, NC - The Claflin Lady Panthers (9-12, 5-11) could not get their offense going when the team struggled to a three-set loss to the Shaw Lady Bears (26-5, 17-0 CIAA), Friday evening. The Lady Panthers found points hard to come by in the 16-25, 17-25, and 9-25 loss.
 
As a team, the Lady Panthers struggled in the loss. The Lady Panthers were held to 15 kills in the entire match. Claflin junior utility Keymara Coleman led the way with four kills for the Lady Panthers. Defensively, senior libero Jasmine Kirkland led the Claflin defensive effort with seven digs in the match.
