ORANGEBURG, SC - The Claflin Lady Panthers (3-2) rolled to their second straight home win when the team took a 67-47 win over the Allen (S.C.) Yellowjackets (4-2), Tuesday. It was a dynamic effort from senior guard
Nya Morris that powered the Lady Panthers to the victory.
As a team, the Lady Panthers had a great offensive effort. The team shot 45.0% (27-of-60) from the floor, including hitting 10 three-pointers. Senior guard
Nya Morris led the way for the Lady Panthers with a team-high 23 points. She also pulled in three rebounds with three steals. Senior forward
Destiny Harrison led the Lady Panthers' rebounding efforts with seven rebounds in the game.
With the win, the Lady Panthers improve to 3-2 overall. They will hit the road for their next action when they head to Richmond, Virginia to take on the Virginia Union Panthers in their first Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) game of the season.
