Morant Family Hall of Fame During his career, Ronnie “Tee” Morant had a terrific career, and he made a tremendous impact for the Panthers. In addition to leading the team to the 1996-97 EIAC championship, Morant was honored as the 1996-97 EIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Year. During his career, Morant was a three-time EIAC All-Conference selection, and he was a two-time team Most Valuable Player. As a freshman, he was a first team All-Freshman honoree as well. During his time with the Panthers, Morant led the team to consecutive appearances in the NAIA National Championship Tournament. Soon after the completion of his collegiate playing career, Morant became a father and directed his path towards a higher plan of prioritizing his family over hoops. His efforts have paid off in a major with his son Ja Morant becoming one of the premier young players in the National Basketball Association (NBA) while his daughter is building a stellar career of her own as a student-athlete at NCAA Division I Mississippi Valley State.
