Terrence Scriven had a tremendous career at Claflin University. During his career, Scriven was a three Eastern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (EIAC) All-Conference selection, and he was a member of the 1995-96 and the 1996-97 EIAC Championship teams. He was also a three-year captain with the Panthers. During his career, Scriven scored over 1,000 points and he averaged 21.2 points per game during his senior season. As a senior, Scriven was also the National Intercollegiate Athletic Association (NAIA) leader in three-point percentage, shooting 54% from long range. For his career, Scriven averaged 15.8 points per game. Following his graduation, Scriven took his leadership from the court to the administration where he built a distinguished career. For over 20 years, Scriven has been an accomplished athletic director in the Sumter School District (Lakewood, Sumter, and Crestwood). He has also held positions as district athletic director for Cherokee County School District in Gaffney, South Carolina and a school athletic director at Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina. During his career, he was recognized at the 2019 4A Region VI Athletic Director of the Year.
