Hall of Fame
During her career with the Lady Panthers softball team, Morant, then Shanks, had a tremendous career of her own. After terrific high school career in both high school and softball, she turned her focus to softball with the Lady Panthers and she built one of the best careers in school history. In 1996, she was honored as the EIAC Player of the Year with a conference championship in 1997. She was a four-time EIAC All-Conference selection in addition to her player of the year honor. She is married to fellow Hall of Fame inductee Ronnie "Tee" Morant and they are the proud parents of a pair of tremendous athletes of their own.
