Booker Whetstone had a terrific career. Following his collegiate playing career, he went on the compete in the professional ranks with the Pottstown FireBirds and the Newark Bears.
 
While he was a terrific performer on the field, his work in the community was just as impressive. He was named the Omega Man of the Year, the Jack of the Year for Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and the founder of Orangeburg Kiddie Kollege.
